First Baptist Church of Milligan
First Baptist Church of Milligan, Baker, Florida, is seeking a
Bi-Vocational Pastor.
We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and a small rural church located in the Northwest Florida Panhandle. Primary duties would include Sunday morning worship, Sunday evening worship, and Wednesday evening Bible study. Additional duties are community outreach, home/hospital visits, and pastoral counseling as needed. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Must meet the criteria in 1Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4. A 3-bedroom parsonage is part of the compensation package.
Qualifications:
-Experience with Bible Study and Discipleship to effectively support spiritual growth and education among church members.
-Strong skills in Pastoring, Pastoral responsibilities, and providing Pastoral Care to the congregation.
-Demonstrated ability to lead worship services and contribute to developing a nurturing and inclusive church community.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for serving a diverse congregation.
-Ability to balance pastoral duties with other vocational responsibilities.
-Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field is preferred.
-Previous experience in ministry leadership is an asset but not required.

First Baptist Church of Mossy Head in DeFuniak Springs, Florida is seeking a man burdened by God with a desire to lead our ministry to the youth in our church and community with the dual goal of nurturing spiritual growth and evangelizing the lost among our students. This is a part-time position, though as the ministry grows and circumstances change, the church is eager to revisit the scope and extent of the role.
We are a medium-sized Baptist church in a rural area committed to standing on Biblical inspiration and authority. A qualified candidate will possess a testimony of an experience of salvation by grace through faith, demonstrable gifts for biblical teaching and ministry to students, and doctrinal alignment with this church’s understanding of biblical truth. It is not required that one be licensed or ordained. It is expected that one who feels led to serve the church in this capacity shall also be led to covenant with the church in membership.
