Dear Pastors and Youth Leaders,
Decrease Student Retreat will be here before we know it. It is going to be held the weekend of
January 21-23, 2022. Tasha Layton will be our very special guest and you won't want to miss that.
To learn more about Tasha (Click Here).
Here's some brief information about Decrease for those who may not know.
Decrease Student Retreat is for students from our local churches, as well as surrounding area churches, who are currently in grades 6 through 12. Our main focus is to hopefully lead students through worship, Bible study, and prayer so that they may have a closer, solid walk with Christ, so that they might stand boldly for the gospel in this day and age and make an impact on their peers. The retreat for the past 8 years has been held at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center in Panama City Beach, FL. The facilities are very accommodating to suit our needs for the weekend.
Forms you'll need to download and print off are at the top of this page.
One is a student/chaperone RSVP form with a place to list all persons attending. Please include the age, grade, and gender for each person listed (students and adults) and indicate whether they are a student or chaperone.
RSVP form must be turned into the WCBA office no later than December 16, 2021.
Also attached are two (2) different medical release forms.
One is for students under the age of 18 years old. This form needs to be filled out completely and signed by a parent or legal guardian. NOTE: student medical release forms for all students under the age of 18 must be notarized or they will not be able to attend.
The other form is a medical release form for adults and students 18 years of age or older. These need to be filled out completely and signed. Adult forms do not have to be notarized.
All money and medical release forms are due by January 10, 2022 to the WCBA office.
NOTE: ALL adults attending who are not 12th grade will need to have an updated background check. These can be a level 1 check that can be done through the WCBA office. Please complete the BGC form and email it to Tammy at the WCBA office. (Click Here for Background Check Authorization Form)
If you have a current background check on file through the school board, law enforcement, government, etc. you will need to provide proof to the WCBA office.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or text me at (850) 307-7122.
Thank you all, and God bless!
